After a weekend long of heavy rain the sun came out yesterday (hidden again today), so I went for a walk with my camera!

The “back pond”, which usually dries up by the end of June and was on it’s way there, is full again as if it was right after thaw!!

And this is what I found in the water!!!

That’s one thing I really miss by not living on the water anymore.I used to love hearing them sing at night along with the crickets.
