Some shots from the Boboli Gardens behind the Pitti Palace in Lorence Italy, once owned by the famous Medici Family for many years. Fabulous art insided. Fabulous gardens outside. It finally stopped raining once we left the palace. The garden was moist with jewels of raindrops. ... a little mucky, but wonderful to see.

What plant were the hedges Jroot? I can’t make out the leaf. The photos are really stunning. :)

Jroot, out of 114 photos from your album I could see 75. They included breathtaking greenery, beautiful statues, various skyline and many other things. I was happy to see you and Gail also. The composition of the pictures was superb. So far you have enjoyed your trip and thanks for sharing it with us. Looking forward to see pictures from your next destination.

IceFlower, I wish I knew what plant it was. I asked, but the people I asked did not seem to know or understand what I asked. I will try to find an answer for you, however.

Thanks for the photos, Jroot! You are reminding me of my honeymoon trip to Italy. I really enjoyed the area around Florence. I found the area unbelievably beautiful. Are you visiting any of the hill towns?
