Hi everyone.Just wanted to tell you how excited I was yesterday. While out for a drive in my area I saw 6 robins.I had to pull over to the side of the road and just stare at them for awhile. They are such a bright orange when they first come home.Spring is truly just around the corner now. Yahoooo

I live with them year round… :D Wife looked at me odd because I put out the humming bird feeder already. Wanted to make sure I had it up, just incase.

Understand the excitement.. Though, Grackles are our “spring time indicator” species of bird.. Once they come in, spring is around the corner.

I’d much prefer Robins.

It would be great to have robins all year round.Love their song.Had a flock of snow buntings go through yesterday. They didn’t stick around though.Today it is raining so hard that its flooding everywhere.Had to go out this morning and make a bunch of trenches to try and drain it away from the house.Fun fun fun (lol)

Actually it felt good to be outside in above zero weather (lol) The birds were yelling at me to get away from their feeder. It was kind of funny listening to them.I could of almost done a “singing in the rain” type dance and song if it wasn’t so icy (lol)

any robin that shows up here is going to do a quick 180 and go where its still warm. I bet end of June before the snow is gone….<g>
