This morning both babies came out, and soon, with coaxing from Ma and Pa Flycatcher, the young ones were away from their nest, and exploring the woods.

how lucky you were to witness this process! Great shots.

Rick thought the baby doves had been .. well.. met their demise.. but when he looked again he saw them on an upper branch with the adults. Made his day!

isnt that cool!!!

they left the nest here too.

I have several wren families and they are my absolute favorite when they fly away as the young ones are horibble at navigation….........they always seem to fly straight into a tree truck, brick wall, post and I am constantly picking the babies up and putting them back into their nests…....only to see them repeat the process
