Topic tags/keywords: piggyback plant

Hi All,

I am trying to find a Piggyback Plant ... seems that none of our “big” local nurseries have any and am told they typically don’t carry them. (Saw ONE last summer at English Gardens and silly me didn’t buy it, figuring they must be carrying them now … but nope they are not.) Checked on line at a few of my catalog places and also out of luck there.

Anyone have a lead? Thanks …

Used to have one. They are very neat.
I believe some specialized nurseries have them in the spring.
Good hunt!!

Yah, I grew them back in the 70’s … and got the “bug” again. They are indeed a neat plant. So the hunt continues :-)

Figured I should put an “end” to this hunt. I finally was able to place an order at a local nursery for a Piggyback Plant. Was able to pick “her” up a couple of months ago now. She already has some nice new growth. Now I need to get a nice container and maybe start a few new ones of my own. :-)

She’s lovely.
I wonder if I could convince the cats not to eat her?

GranT she is beautiful!
Used to have one, in another life, and just loved it! Haven’t seen one in years!

Dini I know I would not be able to convince one of my cats: she thinks that houseplants are salad for her!!
