For the last couple of days every time I come to the site, I can only access 3 or 4 posts, then I’ll get Application Error message, and I have to leave the site, wait a few minutes and come back for a couple more posts. Is anyone else running into this , or is it something on my end?
The App Error message is from GardenTenders, not Yahoo or Windows.

Hmmm…I never received this message but LJ also has an application error…Does it happen on any specific page?

Oh, I just had it happen twice when I tried to go to the lumberjock site from here. Very strange.

I’m sure Martin will look into it.

when Martin’s away.. something usually happens!

A year ago he was away for a couple of weeks and about day 2 after he left the whole LJ site crashed. Talk about withdrawal symptoms!
Fortunately after a couple of days it came back up, much to everyone’s relief.

Just goes to show how hard those guys work to keep everything running on-par. You can feel it when they are away…ha. I think Martin will be back tomorrow or the next day.

I have gotten on occassion, when going from pulse, to a thread, back to pulse an “error page, is not available”. If I hit refresh, it typically comes back. Been a few times when I have had to “close” GT and “open” it back up.

Granted these episodes are few and far between …

That’s what it’s doing to me, GerandmaT, and occasionally it takes awhile before I can get back on without the error message. However, refreshing doesn’t seem to be helping.
And I get the error message EVERY TIME I try to use the pu;se button.

Well I do know that sometimes it is OUR cable connection verses GT and hubby has to do “this thing” with our connection and our computers (he’s a computer guy) ... so not sure what to tell ya. I know it is frustrating.

Maybe it was my server. It seems to have straightened itself out now (fingers and toes all crossed).

Glad to hear everything is working better … like I said, sometimes it is us and sometimes GT. But all in all, the site works fabulously and I have no complaint. :-)

Oh yeah, this is the first time I”ve run into a problem and it wouldn’t surprise me a bit to learn it stemmed from at&t!

I’m having problems with internet Explorer ever since the new service pack was installed this week…Could this be the problem…Maybe try Firefox or another browser.

This application error is not caused by browser, internet connection or provider of internet connection…it’s fault of our code or server. Don’t worry about that and if it happens to you, just try to refresh the page or push “Back” button on your browser. If it will happen more than once on the same page, please let me know and I take care of that.

Thank you, Michal. You have a wonderful site, and I get unhappy when I can’t get where I want to on it!

It’s still doing it, and refresh or the back button don’t help. Sorry.
