I’ve been exceptionally busy with my real job and gardening has taken a somewhat “back seat”. Being on “dial up” I havent had the time to take pics.

I planted 4 cherry trees that I picked up for 20 bucks and thankfully we have had lots of rain. Since these pics were taken I’ve also planted a dozen spirea’s that I bought (5 gallon bucket) for a couple a bucks each. A few clents have offered to give me plants come fall….......which is always a delight.

above is my favorite flower garden and only gets better every year so a few more shots of it

lots of grass to cut around here and having the FIL borrow my 1952 Fergason T30 and promptly throwing a piston rod through the engine block has cased me to use the “other” lawnmower…....errrrrrg

my chicken area

one of my 3 roosters…...........not making any friends with the neighbors

and the latest project that finally left the shop

Cheers

Beautiful work, greenthumb.

Your last photo looks like it is a dry sink / potting table. Am I correct?

Love your flower garden Greenthumb.Nice mix of plants and colours.I see you have lots of room for more gardens.Lucky you.Wish I had that big fire burner ya got in the chicken picture.I put up a burn barrell this year and was told by the fire dept. that they are not allowed in this town.Oh well.I am keeping my eyes open for one that is screened in and I can still burn branches and weeds in.Nice job on the cabinet.

Jroot…..............I am a craftsman and that is a kitchen island. The photo doesnt show the whole thing but from left to right. Fisrt cabinet has a drawer and two doors. Second cabinet is a single door and by tapping the kick plate the door auto opens to revel two large garbage containers and is self closing. Next is a farm sink that is an undermount which will fit under a granite counter. The next opening is for a dishwasher which will be the newer two drawer type with applied drawer fronts…..followed by a bank of drawers.

I was very happy with this one…..............as was the client

Very nice, indeed. I gathered that you were indeed a craftsman. It was a little harder to see without the granite counter top. Looks good.

I love that woodburner, GT. You should enter that in the inside out contest.

This all looks nice Bob and Mike

I have been expanding my hedge with spireas

So easy to root new ones off the older ones

I still have a few more to go

Thanks….....I like it too and have sinced plnated three spirea near it. It would be nice if the morning glories would “kick in” but just being transplanted….........I doubt it will make the dead line

My hat’s off to you!
That’s and excellent result with the tool you are using.
The shoulder transitions came out well .
Tricky to use a skew there without a catch.

Bob. ................One can own the very best lathe but it is the chisels that do the work? and the hands that hold them. I dont do enough turning to warrent a new lathe.

GrandmaT…................thank you
