Everytime I go onto the front porch to sit down, the hummer and others come to the feeders and by the time I go in to get the cam, they are gone. So this morning whilst having my cereal, I decided to go out with the camera.

I barely sat down for 1 minute, and if by magic, looks at the visitors

The money shot ( hummer and the finch )

that’s awesome! It’s tricky to get a hummingbird photo. Well done.
What a lovely morning you have, sitting out watching the birds.

I can’t beleive how much your plants came for the first year

You must have terrific soil

I have to keep amending mine all the time . it is so much clay

I pile the compost and manure to it and new black earth and it turns back to clay in no time within the season

I spend a fortune amending it

You got 2 birds in one pic

Nice !!!

Arent summer birds just so nice to watch (with some exceptions).

I keep two feeders at the kitchen sink window, one for the hummers and one for the orioles which both come and dine several times a day…......

two bird baths which get a lot of use by the robins, orioles and a few others.

There is something about the sunrise and sunset that a lot of folks never get to see, hear and smell. When that sun comes up I have my coffee in hand, the birds come alive and the sweet fragrances that come from the mock orange tree and french lilcas fill the air…............even the rooster is kewl.

I notice that at sunset, the baby birds are everywhere, crying out to their folks, learning to fly, land

I do love the warmer seasons.

Nice pics
