Thanks for the private anniversary greetings, Sharad. We had a really nice quiet day by ourselves. IT is HOT here, so we did not venture out. 43 years of marriage to the same woman is sadly something that doesn’t happen around here that often these days. My father always told me, “When you find the right one, you’ll know, and you’ll have 40+ years of happiness. If you find the wrong one, 40 years will be long enough.” I gather I found the “right one”.

I haven’t been doing too much gardening. Most of the work is done in the spring, and the garden looks after itself other than the daily 40 minutes of watering. We are on water restrictions here, so I can use a hose on odd number days, and have to use a watering can on even number days. We do not water the grass, and sadly that has turned brown for the most part. Hopefully, it will come back when the rains come. Some people who cut their lawn too short before the drought, have had their lawns turn black. That means their grass is dead, and it will not come back, so next year, it will be big $$$ for them.

I have been doing some painting in the mean time. Did you see my Facebook site?

That is keeping me busy, and out of trouble. Lots of cerebral activity is used there.

I had been thinking about the GT folk, just the other day, wondering how my gardening friends were doing. IS anyone out there?

Unfortunately, this site is not allowing me to use jpegs even though it says it has to be. Computer glitches with no support still. So it is just words now.
