November 16/12

Well, I have to share this with my GardenTenders’ buddies.

My brother hosts a bluegrass jamboree every year (for the past four years). It is a free event for invitees, they just bring something for the food bank.

Recently Monsanto was offering money to special events and my brother submitted the event. This morning he found that he is one of the recipients!

Very exciting. We’ll say “Thanks to Monsanto” and not think about all the other elements of the sponsor.

Maybe the people making decisions at Monsanto just need to be educated about what makes a healthy world and healthy, sustainable food supply. Anyone who supports bluegrass cannot be completely evil! : )

a little bit of goodwill goes a long way :) ok, maybe a little way—but the Jamboree will be extra special next year!

Congrats to your brother. Hope he feeds a lot of people with that extra kick. I would love to join him for a few tunes.
