I wasn’t sure quite where to put this, so heres as good as any! Are plant sales ok? I’m not a buisness of anything, but thought people would like to try some Carnivorous plants (which aren’t available gennerally speeking at garden centers). I really don’t need anything for my garden so I can’t really swap. The only thing that I could swap for is more CPS, but I’m doubting the’re available.
Thanks
Sib ;)

Ask MSDebbie, She knows everything! <g>

As for me I don’t care as long as the adverts don’t take over the forum.

I do not see any reason why not, as long as it doesn’t become a “sale” site!
Maybe doing it through pm for those who would be interested! As I am!

I figured I’d better ask before I posted it. I belong to many sites that function fine with a sales/tread/wants section, it never seams to hurt anything, heck it just helps to spread the plants to people who in other circumstances might not have the chance to grow them. I have scanned around the site for any rules i might break but haven’t seen any so thought i’d just come out and ask. If there’s no problem with it, I’ll post a few tonight.
Thanks,
Sib ;)

haha everything, huh? except plant names etc. :)

This is the trade and swap section so this is where it would belong.

As for selling – if this is your business then I’d suggest checking out the advertising page
Running the sites is a costly process and free advertising isn’t a smart move :)

If it is just a casual sale of stuff, I think that is fine. We are helping each other out.
That’s just my opinion.

It’s not a buisness (maybe someday though!). For now I just trade off and occasionally sell off divisions of my collection. Nows the time for dorment sarracenia to be split before they wake! and i have some sundews aswell.
Thanks
Sib ;)
