Been working outside all day.Got sooooo much done, raking ,cutting back dead flower stocks, getting pots ready in the container garden.I must say,Spring is certainly here.
Had to run to Home Depot for some lattice, and noticed the Garden center is open ,and they have plants, same as Wal-Mart.
Hope everyones enjoying the weather!Whats it like where you are?

Hi Countrygal!! It is a glorious day here in Southeast Michigan … in the mid-50’s (F) and sunny. The sun is warm and feels marvelous!!! HA, had to put my sun visor on!

Hubby and I headed to HD today as well. Lots of Pansies … vibrant colors!! Gonna have to head back there this weekend and pick up a few for my front porch.

I agree … Spring is here!!! YEA!!!!!

Very sunny here but COLD… We’ve had 2 beautiful sunny days with blue skies and both days have been really chilly.
I hope tomorrow starts to feel as warm as it looks.

Now isn’t that weird, you are pretty close to me,and you are still cold? I worked outside all day with a sweatshirt on and was plenty warm.Hopefully you will warm up soon.

Went outside to get a patch of the old garden (veg) ready for lettuce and the like and I ended up digging for the small (4’x6’) pond that we got last year.
So much for the carrots!!

Our weather is grumpy.
It just snailed for a few minutes. (snow/hail/rain)
It typical here and we just haveto be patient.
I guess the real advantage for gardeners is that we don’t get too hot in July which limits some crops in wamer climates.

The grass iis greening.

A pond, I want one but we get alot of snakes here and I was told a pond would just attract them more.We did a bathroom redo a few years ago and I kept the bathtub, thinking to sink it in the ground as a pond. Now you have got me thinking——should I—-but the snakes—-yikes!!!lol

if the snakes are there then you will have them whether you get a pond or not.. might as well enjoy a pond while you are watching for the slitherers.

I was thinking about creating a meadow effect in my front yard and thought the same thing: but the snakes will love it as much as I do..

Rick is right!
The snakes like you just as much as you like them!
