I just wanted to say hi to you all. I haven’t been here for a few months and I see there are some new gardeners enjoying free time on GT site. That’s great.

I’m growing tomatoes and “ram’s horns” on my balcony. I’m not sure if you know what Ram’s Horns are and maybe this word is only used here in slovakia. It is some kind of pepper, maybe chilly pepper but it is thinner and longer. Sometimes it is very hot but sometimes it’s not.

I hope all of you are ok and enjoying summer for growing your own edibles and flowers.

I have seen these peppers here but never knew they are called ram’s horns. Michal, glad to hear from you and wish to see more varieties on your balcony garden.

Is that hot stuff looks like…..
I think they r more popular in Mexico and even in India rather in Asia and south America and even some part of Africa.

It’s probably called ram’s horns only here in Slovakia.

Bon: I’m not sure what kind of tomatoes I’m growing, I just know that they are Tomatoes :)). I was not able to grow them on the balcony until our balcony was refurbished and that was only 2weeks ago. I had all my edibles in front of the window, so they are weak and I need to wait few weeks to harvest.

Michal,
Thanks for the info and welcome. What direction and distance are you from the capital? Being in Europe, is the the zone 5 the same as zone 5 in north america?
