Well hoping your storm misses us here in Michigan. Wind is blowing pretty good out there now. We had a flurry or two this afternoon. They say rain is coming …

Hey Countrygal … be careful clearing that snow away from the Satellite dish; hope it is not on your roof!

Well.I just come in for the fourth time from clearing that dish.No GrandmaT,not on the roof.It is around the back of the house, only 6 feet up,so easy enough.I just don’t like going out to do it,its nasty out there,STILL,and the wind is raw.No sign of this turning to rain——yet.

Well I found out that I live in the 15 to 20 cm rang of the forcast. Our satelite dish is out but it is on the roof so it will have to wait for spring like the rest of us.
The weather people did promise us two more snowstorms and so far they have been right but I will forgive them if they are wrong about the second one ( supposedly coming Thursday)
Oh well as long as it warms up and we can enjoy the stuff.

Got up this morning and there was still wet snow on the ground. The weatherliars said it was to rain last night,so that was wrong. At least the sun is shining.Funny thing though, each time I went out yesterday to clear the dish, all I could hear were birds chirping everywhere.Maybe they were complaining too?

Well, it snowed here a little bit around 11pm last night and did not stay….and this morning it is beautifull and melting!

Sorry for all of you who went through another one yesterday!!

As far as geese, we haven’t seen any around here since last fall. I even checked with some neighbors after reading your comment countrygal as I was not aware of that fact.

Eklectic
Here in SW Ontario,it seems more Canada Geese are spending their winters here. When we first noticed them here in winter there was maybe a pair or two,but this winter we had a flock of at least 12.I will have to get a pic of them next winter. It is quite a sight to see them in the corn field during a snowstorm. They don’t seem to be bothered by it.

countrygal … that would be quite a pic … Canadian Geese, corn field during a snowstorm.

I did see our first “Geese” on Easter afternoon; out by my in-laws.

it was like someone had sprinkled icing sugar over everything!! Had to drive slower but that gave me more time to be “in awe” – I noticed more of Mother Nature’s work (bent weeds along the side of the road; the curve of branches hanging over the road, all covered with a dollop of snow/icing sugar)

Simply gorgeous and when the green of spring arrives I will treasure those days as well! :)

Well Bob,
I would say that counts.
Here I still have so much snow, there is no way that your rabbit would find grass!
But we had that gorgeous turkey at the feeder yesterday calling for females!

And GranT,
for my walk, still needed my hat and ski jacket!
But we can smell “it”! It is in the air!
