Site for Market growers....

Wow! A new thread for this forum. Cool.

I’ve been poking around lately. Some people call this surfing the internet. Anywho, I found a few sites that apply to me locally. One is the Local Growers Guild. It has info on alot of things. I think I’ll join. I noticed some info on grants and writing them and getting assistance on writing them, etc. They also I.D.’d the local county extension office.

I also started in on thinking about hoophouses again. There’s lots of info out there about them. But, I wanted a cheap solution to buying one rather than building one myself. It’s always a toss-up. I can just about always look at something and figure out how to build it myself without all the added costs. But, while surfing I did find….

This site has alot of really good stuff for not alot of money.

I was just about ready to buy a roll of cover clothe from Lee Valley when I saw that this place has some for a much better price. In this case it was $21 for 50’ compared to $70 for 250’. Anyway, if you’re looking for things like berry tills, bushel baskets, hoophouses, U.V. plastic, etc. check it out.
