The day has been been a rather gloomy one with the wind blowing and very gray, overcast skies. We have a Winter Storm Warning posted for this afternoon , lasting until mid-morning tomorrow. You can just feel the temperature dropping and KNOW a storm is fast approaching.

Now, my husband was kind enough to drive me over to Damocles’ home to deliver my envelope of seed packets for GT’s Seed Swap. It is a short drive, maybe 7-10 minutes away. The drive there was pretty uneventful.

However the drive home was another story … Hubby and I were chatting away as we headed home. Came to a stop light when I noticed a convertible in front of us. Wait, I could not be seeing what I think I am seeing … is his top down … no, can’t be … not in this weather, it’s COLD … OMG, yes it is. Okay, must be some “silly” kid. So we pull beside him. It is a 60ish year old man, driving his sporty convertible, with the top totally down wearing a green and yellow Jester’s Hat (and winter coat).

Needless to say, hubby and I laughed all the way home … and where was my camera when I needed it!!!!

Thats funny , maybe he just wanted everyone to see how cool he was. Thats a good way to get brain freeze.

I’m not sure what he was looking to get accomplished, brain freeze is right though. But man, it was FUNNY!!! His hat was OUTRAGEOUS and overscale and the bells were just blowing in that cold wind. “Made” our whole afternoon …

IN ENGLAND ON THE SOUTH COAST THERE IS A BEAUTY SPOT CALLED BEACHY HEAD IT IS NOTORIOUS FOR PEOPLE COMMITTING SUICIDE DRIVING OFF OF THE HIGH CLIFF. ONE DAY THERE WAS A GUY SLUMPED OVER THE STEERING WHEEL WHO WAS ABOUT TO END IT ALL DUE TO HIS BIG MONEY WORRIES AND GO OVER THE CLIFF .
THEN A MIRACLE HAPPENED AND ALL THESE PEOPLE GATHERED ROUND HIM AND GAVE THIS POOR MAN ALL THEIR MONEY AND JEWELLERY TO MAKE HIM CHANGE HIS MIND . YOU MIGHT THINK THIS WAS A WONDERFUL ACT OF IMPROMPTU KINDNESS BY THE GENEROUS PEOPLE BUT THE TRUTH IS :-
THEY WERE ALL PASSENGERS ON HIS BUS! REGARDS MIKE ( HAD TO MANY CIDERS AGAIN)
