Hi everyone Here is a wagon planter box that i made from reclaimed barn wood .
I am not much of a gardener yet so i just added most of the plants i have kicking around .
The wagon is 7 ft long, 30 ” high and 30” wide .
I just got 2 more barns and 2 driving sheds to tear down so i will have my hands full .
I found these items this morning in the driving shed in the loft along with a big fat raccoon that i woke up .
I need some advice on what to do with the big wheels and the half barrel .I also have this weird looking shovel . It looks like a pooper scooper .lol

Well isn’t that cool.. Good job! :)
As for suggestions.. hmmm… Not real sure… You’ll most likely have to find separate uses for them.

John I LOVE the wagon … the size seems perfect for your yard. Definitely big enough to make a statement.
Wagon wheels would be make marvelous trellis’ ... or you could take all this and simply make an arrangement within your garden … plant around and amongst the items. The barrel would be great as a planter or even turned on it’s side and planted to look like the dirt and plants are “falling out of it”.
Great finds!!!! And that barn wood is gonna make some awesome things. Can’t wait to see what you have in mind …

Rick made special comment about your wagon on our way home. He REALLY liked it!!
Wagon wheels: how about a hanging lantern/chandelier thingy for your deck area. Don’t know how you’d suspend it but it might look cool.
Barrel: can you line it and make a waterfall out of it for your pond? Or maybe it’s an ice bucket for garden parties? Or a firewood holder for campfires?
The shovel: it is a trench shovel? (And since you found it in the barn, perhaps it is a pooper scooper for some trenches in the barn.
Great treasures you got (along with the barnboards. My goodness you have a lot of work ahead of you – not only getting the boards down and home but also building the soon to be “extreme birdhouses”.

Great wagon John!
You could use all of them as garden ornaments just as they are: would make a statement all year round on their own!

Love your wagon planter. There are a lot of options out there for your wheels. They look great at the edge of the driveway with flowers planted around them . Pretty sure your shovel is a trench pooper scooper for the barn trenches.Nice pictures John…keep them coming.

Love the wagon, and like it all.
If those wheels were mine…......I’ld likely make another, perhaps a “buggy”. They got pretty fancy way back when and I would put container plants on the seat and floor…......
I’ve seem them placed at the front of the drive on either side, looks good. Hang one above an entrance like a sign, or on the side of the barn.
Nice score

Thank you Bunting and greenthumb . I have enough wheels to make one more wagon . I like your idea of hanging it up , That would look very cool .
