This is actually the third one, but the second turned out to be more of a prototype that I built for my neighbor.
This one was built for my son and daughter in law and I increassed the footprint to allow for the “hammock seat”, and added the floor out of 2 X 6 pt as well as a back.
I find it sort of interesteding that most people seem to prefer this one, over the “cat” previously posted. I grant you that the hammock and the sunburst add a “cool” factor, but I, personally feel that the first one has a better feel and artistic balance, and is just pleasant to gaze at.
However, I do admit that my mind works a “bit different”.

You are obviously the “artist” in the group!
I agree with you!
At the same time, you made this one very inviting!
You seem to have a knack to please everybody!
Congratulation!

I had to go back and check out the first one

the “cat” seems more clean lined and thus more tranquil, perhaps?
Looking at them both, I think I prefer the “cat” as well.

But you can’t sit on a cat.. At least not comfortably.
Nice work, eh.. I may just hijack parts of the design for some stuff around here.
