Spring is definitely on its way…

It just occurred to me to check in and see if anyone had started any spring garden planning as of yet, and here we have a very positive sign of things to come! Actually heard some birds chirping in the early morning hours on Sunday; it’s been unseasonably warm down my way in New Jersey.

We’ll all be outside again soon enough!

I was going to do some pruning today but the wind shifted and it is chilly. I’ll wait til later this week when it is supposed to get almost “hot” out :D

I was out cleaning up winter blow downs and since there’s no snow,... I stated on my wood-pile for next year.
Noticed that a few of our trees have buds forming already.
Sugaring has been going on around here for a couple weeks in places a “good month” ahead of time.
We never really had that extended cold this year, weird winter for sure!

Wow that sure is a long time to have a flower not bloom but it looks like the wait was worth it.Beautiful bloom.
