This year........... No-picture-s No-picture-s Click the pictures to enlarge them

Seen as how this will be my first year in my house I am going to wait and see what pops up then near the end of this year make decisions. Right now there is stuff popping up everywhere. Everywhere I tell you so that is cool. The lady that I bought the house off left me a map of wear everything may pop up so I am just going to list the stuff and go from there.

Front Yard
carnations, bellflowers, violets, liatris Office????, bleeding heart, asters liatris, Easter Lilies, Mums, Pansies, corespsis, daffodils, black eyed susan, Lily, coral bells om. chilis, nemesis, more lilies, lily of the valley, barberry, Iris (not sure if that is a plant or a friend of the people who lived hear because there are gardens named after people.), yellow evening primrose, white phlox

Back yard
lily of the valley, Hollyhocks Mum, roses, peonies, climbing roses, clematis, lilacs (my favourite) ,holyhocks, spider wort, Gratix lily, Easter Lilies, strawberries (but I think they do not come up every year do they), Hostas, chimenea bulbs, mascari, lavender bed and a apple tree.

And there seems to be memorial gardens here to so if I do move something I will make sure it gets replanted.

And we have a bunch of pine trees, spruce trees and oak trees on the property. I would love to add a couple of peach and pear trees but would have to move a couple of trees. So who knows.

I think I will be carrying around the flower map every time I am in the yard because I have no idea what 90% of these flowers look like. So the adventure begins.

And I am planting in the veggies garden 4 types of Tomatoes, P&C corn, zucchini or cougettes (for the englsh in the crowd), cayenne peppers, melons ( Minnesota Midget), peas, beats.

Well it sounds like you have the beginnings of a GREAT flower garden(s)!!! Nice variety, truly.

You can type in the name of the flower (and add the word “photograh”) after it on your search engine. Picture sites should come up. That way you will know what the flowers look like. Hope this helps … :-)

You’re lucky to have had a map. We’re still waiting to prep some beds so we can see if there’s anything else in them. So far I think they’re clear as summer flowers should already be pushing their green by now.

It is going to be like a treasure hunt to be following the map, and hunting the different flowers/plants and figuring out what they are!
You are one lucky fellow!
Have fun!
