For a second I thought those veragated hostas were bishops weed or devils weed but they are indeed hostas

Lovely spot for quiet reflection.

Years ago I planted that Bishops weed in a garrden….......what a mistake, very very evasive and almost impossible to get rid of but in a place like alond a coniferous tree line makes for a nice transition of green and white.

Love the pics, thanks for posting

I love your coleus collection. Do you keep seeds or cuttings from each? I overwinter mine, keep seeds and cuttings. I am always looking for more. I would be willing to swap with you. By the way today 29th is the last day to join our seed swap if you aren’t already in.

MsDebbieP you asked what the plants were in the second picture they are Coleus, I love these plants they’re my favorite. They come in different colors and will last only up to the fall, if you want you can take cuttings from them and keep them over the winter I do that sometimes. I also put them in pots I have photos over them that I will post and show you the different colors. I found them one day while shopping at Home Depot a couple of years ago. Now I make sure I get them every year and I seem to be able to find more colors every year.

nativeplantsrule Gee I’m sorry but I’ve never save the seeds, I usually take cuttings and keep them over the winter. But I will start saving them this year so maybe by next year we could swap. Normally I clip of flowers off since the leaves or more colorful than the flower is.

Again I wish to thank everyone for the lovely comments

fantastic! i love those ones in the middle pic. the climate here in Melbourne is really dry so my water supply doesn’t allow me to have such lush grass. I’m envious.

melanger the ones in the middle picture are coleus , they along with the grass need plenty of water.I understand that if you’re on a well system you’re limited in how much water you can use on your plants
