Hi everyone
This is a 6 ft waterfall that i made out of reclaimed fence boards.
Once the spring is here i will line the inside with a rubber liner ,fill with water and then add a pump.
I built it in 3 pieces so it is easy to take apart and move anywhere .

Great design, John! I like that it’s transportable, also. The metal sun is a nice addition…

Love the use of recycled materials. Can’t wait to see the water action :)

Ahh.. I’d seen several exactly like that before elsewhere. Always nice to have. Was going to ask if you planned on glassing the inside, but see you’re going the liner route. Be better that way anyway due to expansion.

Looks really good.

You may want to screw down some plexi on the bottom of each spillway so that the water spills out, as apposed to rolls out and down the face of the wood.

Hi Scott
I built this off the top of my head . I have never seen one like this built from fence boards or wood. Maybe casted or something . This was my friends fence before this. I am going to use metal flashing to divert the water away from the wood .

ohh… some nice copper flashing would look great over the years. ;)

I may be blind, did you say what kind of wood it was?

So how does your brother like it?

The wood is presure treated . it is aged about ten years now .
My brother likes it but he is a little slow setting it up . I think he is waiting for me to help him . lol
Same with a birdhouse i gave him . That is not up yet and i gave it to him almost 2 years ago . The hole is even dug .
