Wishing you all a great Canada Day. Hope your BBQ doesn’t get rained on, and I especially hope your fireworks don’t get cancelled bc of the rain. It’s going to get cool tonight, so if you are going out, dress warm.
My BIL is a retired Mountie and he sent me this picture for Canada Day. Hope you enjoy it.

To celebrate Canada Day we are all going to Mcdonalds!
Thank you Mr. Harper!
It’s the first day of the year when we stop working for the Government and start working for ourselves!

Thanks for your greeting. Canada Day went off with a bang here. Company came for a barbeque, and all of a sudden after an afternoon of sun, the thunder and rain began. Good time with friends, nevertheless.
We are very fortunate to live in Canada. When one studies what is going on in other countries, we are indeed blessed.

Canada Day was nice, bright and sunny! Heard the thunder but it never made it here!!
Indeed we are very fortunate to live in this beautiful country! We had company from overseas and they were amazed at all that we take for granted!!

Canada Day was great here in Hastings. All day long at the park was entertainment for young and old and at 4 pm. there was a parade that went right by our house. It was pretty good this year.A nice BBQ supper with friends and at dusk we were treated to the best fireworks display in Canada.Hastings is known for having the best in Cda. on Canada Day.It was just so awesome. The weather was great the whole day.Rain didn’t start till early this morning. :-)

I’m glad to hear everyone had a great Canada Day. It gives one a feeling of solidarity with the rest of the countrty to know we are all celbrating at the same time. While I had a quiet Canada Day, in the evening I joined some friends that live over-looking Centennial Park and the St. Clair river to watch fireworks. Despite a fine rain, thousands of people gathered in the park to watch. They were spectacular.
