Beautiful pictures. Makes the snow bearable, doesn’t it?

Yes, gorgeous photos Iris … it is snowing really big flakes at the moment … and I found myself thinking, “how pretty” ... probably the last time we will be seeing this till next winter. I’m gonna take a moment and enjoy this … all kidding aside …

Hurrah for the flowers that keep trying to come out. And just how soon before everyone will be saying how hot and humid it is? Thanks for the photos. Your waterfall and pond is pretty.

I love crocuses and those first few signs of life after a long winter. Spring must be right around the corner at your house. :0)

Even if these photos are from last year’s flowers, they are still beautiful to see. A promise of spring! What is the name of the little blue flowers in the second photo? I like your little pond, too.

RFG, those little blue flowers are scilla siberica. They grow from a little bulb very easily and seed themselves. They begin to bloom in late winter, very early spring.

Thanks, Iris. I might buys some if I order bulbs in the fall.
