Beginnings
Subject: a pine tree seedling
Quote: “All Achievements begin with one step and the courage to take the next.” dp2009
My Goal
Many years ago I had a realization that my pen and lens would be used to capture my perspective of the Spirit and beauty of all things and share this vision with others. Thus, one reason for planting flowers in my yard is to have subjects for my photography.
The Process
After a couple of “clicks of the camera” I am soon lost in the moment, with just me, the flower, and my camera present. My photography passion is what I call “Abstract in Reality” as I zoom in closer and closer to the subject until I am “lost in its essence”. When in this state of connectedness I can lose track of time and may even have 100 unique photos before I come back to the bigger world.
Some of my favourite photos hang on my walls and some I have used for my Inspirational Greeting Cards.
(please respect copyrights of my photo and quote. Thank you)

Gorgeous photo and beautiful, very meaningful words … awesome combo. Yes, indeed you do have “gifts” and it is good to see you using “both” of these “gifts” in one medium.
I truly loved the card MsDeb …

Beautiful card.
I’ve often thought of creating cards with my photo images. I do have many of the printed and framed throughout the house.
