I have been working lately on the garden bridge area which I posted last fall. I have added another water feature. Behind it all is a new “sacred place”, where I go to meditate and marvel at the creation which has been “loaned to me” for a brief while.

The eagle laid an egg.

Climatizing the brugmansia and some of the hibiscus. Unfortunately, many of the ones on the deck got a sunburn today. We were supposed to have rain, but all we got was bright sun. ..... and I am complaining?

Planted 4 pinky winky hydrangea beside this fountain. Hopefully they will survive. I haven’t had a whole lot of luck with hydrangea here, so cross your fingers.

I added a light inside the urn in the fountain for some drama

Night lighting is so dramatic. Too bad the last photo was not great. One really needs to see it in person.

What next?

Wonderful, Jroot – wish I could come relax in your gardens for a spell!

Maybe for a summer get-together, once I get my schedule. We are down 3 staff now, so I work a LOT more than I originally wanted.

What a lovely and serene spot you have created, Jroot – just the place to relax after too many hours of working.

Thank you, gardentender friends.

The neighbour complained about the purple light. So I have removed it in favour of simple solar lamps.

This is gorgeous John. I don’t remember the little bridge and the steps being so defined. Is that new too?

I love your thought about enjoying what we have been given for a little while. We are indeed blessed to live in this area.
