WOW! You ladies are fast—-I mean quick. LOL Good pic, Horsetail. I so enjoyed meeting all you sister-gardeners, and your husbands. I am anxious to get some of these plants in the ground but first will let Wyndyacre have a look and choose what she wants——we may be fighting over them. :)
I’m glad you meantioned the quinoa, MsDeb. That salad was really good. All the food was good, and the roasted corn was the BEST. Thank you and your DH for hosting this get-together. We had a ball!

Oh so what did everyone bring to trade??? Sounds like some great plants … I love trading plants because it allows a part of that person to be in your garden. So everytime you look at that plant it reminds you of that person. :-)

MsD, I am sorry. I forgot about the quinoa. It tasted sooo good that it didn’t taste like protein.
As for trading there were several small seedlings of foxglove, datura, petunia, veronica, stocks , rose of sharon, columbines, epiphylum, plectranthus, and a bunch of questionables. THEN Iris43 arrived and we all rushed out to swarm her suv.She had gorgeous plants of aloe ,sea oats, columbine, blue cloud shrub, rose of sharon, prickly pear cactus , paint pallet and a few more.I probably have have these names wrong so the others can gladly set the record straight.
I am hoping that we can all get to MsD’s next summer for the bbq ( if she holds it) and we can add a garden swap there.
Thanks again to everyone especially the men. ps It is raining again!!

Glad you ladies had a good time at the corn roast and sorry I couldn’t make it this time.
Thanks so much for providing a good home for some of my extra plants that Mom (Iris) took with her to the roast. Let me know if you need any info on any of them.
