Below is what started it all …

As most of you know, my hubby is a Lumberjock. The LJ site is hosting a contest with two categories; One Man’s Junk and Serve It Up With Class. As hubby was considering what he was going to use to enter this contest, he remembered that old, UGLY patio door that he had replaced. We had not thrown it out yet, so perfect opportunity to make it useful again. Above are pictures of the door turned into a very cool table. It could be used for most anything outside; but as you all guess it … it is PERFECT for my flowers!!! Nice addition to the back patio. Thanks Honey!!!

And if you want to read hubby’s blog on making this table, below is the link.

GramT…Tell hubby he did a real nice job on that table for your plants. It fits right in with your little chair. :-)

Beautiful job on that table, turning your patio into quite a nice “living room”!

Really like what you did with the table!
And the little house pn the bottom shelve brings a whimsical quality to it all!

You make a great team: he builds beautifully and you use it smartly! :-)

My goodness! Who would have guessed this lovely little table came from the old door? It is just beautiful and your flowers compliment it so well. You two make a good pair. GrandmaT, your flowers are so pretty and lush looking. Nice choice.

I am really impressed with what he has done with the old door transformation into the lovely table. It really caught my eye. Well done. I see your amazing lamp, and the special chair, and also that really cute wee house on the bottom shelf, really sets it off. Once again, well done to both of you.
Well done !

Thank you from both of us!! Guess it’s nice to know after almost 34 years; we make one heck of a team. He does all the heavy lifting and building and I “make purdy” ... hahahaha!!!

Maybe a pallet wood can be turned to that unique ideas. This is great, environmental friendly it cost you nothing to build..
