Well a lot of my flowers are finally starting to bloom in the berm .The ones I had to re-seed on the east side are still not flowering yet but at least they are growing this time.Second photo is the south side.Cosmos at top,then zinnia and datura border.Third photo is east side.Cosmos are blooming at the top.Helenium Hoopesii is just starting in the middle and the zinnia are budding.

That is beautiful. Working with a berm is difficult. I love to see the layers of cosmos, zinnias and datura. Which Datura is that? I have the single white one here in Rockwood. It self seeds and makes a wonderful statement. It hides the gas meter too. :) Last year, I had the triple yellow and the double purple swirl, but they didn’t come back, and the seeds were not good.

are you sure this is the same project that you showed us months ago?? :)
IT has filled out beautifully. What a difference (not that the original wasn’t beautiful as well)

Thanks everyone.I smile every day when I go out to see what is blooming.The red lavetara are just starting to bloom.I will get a good shot of them when there is more blooms.

That is so lovely, Bon. Worth every minute you spent hauling rock, etc. What a difference from that bare hillside.

OH MY GOSH!!!! How GORGEOUS!!!!!! Been waiting for you to post pics of this beautiful berm of yours!!! Just magnificent … I could go on and on and on … all your hard work has truly paid off. Got a show stopper here!!! :-)
