very cool.My daughter was telling me, a while ago, about a display she saw with balancing rocks – amazing to look at and amazing to watch being put together.
And how hard was it to find the magic balancing points?
Fantastic sculptures!! Bravo

Neat. I should try some of these in my secret garden. There certainly are enough rocks nearby. Great idea.

It was hard. each rock that goes on top changes the center of gravity of all the rocks below. It also doesn’t last very long, The left one was knocked over within an hour by a blue jay that tried to perch on it. I wasn’t here to see the right one fall but i’m assuming it met it’s demise at the hands of a bird as well. I can certainly see the zen aspect of the practice, as it takes a great deal of patience and you would have to dedicate some time everyday to keep in tact.

Very cool – I get the Zen thing too. The center (lone) rock looks a bit like a squirrel standing on its back legs.
