As most of you know … I LOVE my African Violets and have been raising them over 28 years now. So here are a few more of my “babies” that are in full bloom. Hope you get as much enjoyment out of the photos as I do here at home. Enjoy … :-)

Ooh, GrandmaT, I love African violets. Unfortunately, mine never last very long—-I don’t seem to have much luck growing them. Any tips? :-)

Just started a “blog” on growing Violets. But if you have specific questions, I will try to answer them … :-)

Hubby’s whimpering. Between 3 moves in 2 years, and “african salad” munching cats, he’s lost all of his violets.
He says to tell you your “teacups” are all gorgeous, and never turn your back on that blue and white, if we ever see you in person, ‘cause he loves that one!

Dini, tell your hubby thank you and that I would be whimpering too if I lost all my Violets … poor man … I feel for him. :-)

Thank you … actually the white one is one of my fav’s. It has an irridescent flower … when the sun hits it, it sparkles. Very pretty.

I stuff them into plastic bags and punch holes into the bags to let the flowers/plants out
hang then from bent railway ties/nails off the poolhouse walls
huge walls of flowers
the african voilet is a magnificant flower meant to impress people by those who can

So that’s what they are supposed to look like. Not just one teeny flower at a time like mine ( lol )
I will try all your tips and see if maybe I can get two blooms at once.
