Finally went and built a raised bed for my Vegetable garden. My yard is obscenely un-level so I have only been able to do containers for veggies.

It is 6 foot by 6 foot made out of fence slats. Fortunately I had a large amount of compost on hand from last years lawn trimmings to help fill it. Then I had to add a slat barrier around it to keep the 2 standard poodles from playing in it.

Looking forward to garden fresh tomatoes and squash.

I have to fence most of my veggie gardens in too – two pit mixes know how to do some damage if left to themselves, even if not quite as big as your poodles.

What are you going to grow this year?

it looks great!

I’ve had to fence as well—- rabbits, chickens, cats, dogs. None of them ours.

Good luck with your garden. It looks like you are off to a great start.
