Sitting Area

Project by cranbrook2 posted 989 days ago 798 views 0 times favorited 8 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Hi everyone , I’m back again with another garden project that i did using 70 yr old reclaimed barn wood.
I built most of it in my house during the winter other then the floor.
It is just under 12 ft square and almost 8 ft high
I am making a pond right next to it.

I like the design, and the room for the planting “urns” at the corners! Are you planning to grow anything up the lattice?

Easy ones include wisteria and morning glories or moon flowers. The latter two being annuals will die back each year, but the wisteria will give you year-round interest in branches.

It looks great John. I like the design, but it looks very standalone for me. Maybe that climbing vine you are planing to plant will help it to look as a more inherent part of the whole area. I was thinking that the pathway leading to that sitting area will looks great as well. What do you think ?
