This green house came about after seeing the luxury green houses. Although my budget cannot afford such a nice green house….I still wanted one!
As I said in my blog I had tried the hoop houses but our winds are to much of a problem and they come apart.
I had the thought to check out Craigs List, and ” waa laa ” all the dbl pane saftey glass vinyl windows that was needed in one location, I made an offer and down the road they went. The last pic is of the previous try at a green house. Thats as far as it got for more than two years.
After pondering on how to piece this puzzle together, it went well in the end and I feel satisfied. I was able to reuse almost all the material needed and still kept it at a very affordable price.
It turned out to be a 10’ X 10’ X 9’ at the peek and 6’ at the side walls.
Happy gardening.
God Bless
♡

Very impressive—and almost all re-used materials. Very impressive indeed.

Thank you…..now to get the wicking beds installed.
I will post pics of how we make them.
We must get fans and a form of ventilation to cool the area. It was 59° F. yesterday but inside was a whopping 85°F maybe even in the 90’s.
Thanks again for the peek at our little green house that can…... I hope. :-)

I’m drooling! This is a fabulous green house and extremely pleasing to my eyes! Just wish I could build one just like it! But my subdivison won’t allow it.
I guess I’ll just be happy that you have one! Perfect!

Brrrrrr!...the snow is beginning to fall. temp. is showing rite at 30 degrees F. but inside it is showing 63….blows my mind at the R/insulation value of those windows.
Now if it had a hot tub we’d be set….lol

Snow covered green house… but toasty inside.
I fired up the heater and soon it was very nice inside.
