Hi Dini,

Nice pic!
Like the “recycling” part as well as the originality of it all!

Good work!

Nice garden Dini … LOVE the concrete border. Looks fantastic!!! Looking forward to seeing more.

And Mike … Once your photo(s) are downloaded into Photobucket.com go to “Edit” right above the photo. Then hit “Resize”, then “Preset Sizes” and select either “Website or Message Board” sizes. Then hit “Replace Original” and your photo is sized nicely for GT.

Hope that helps …

This is the view from the center of my driveway. When we moved in, there were the trees, the deck and bare dirt all the way back to the spot still showing between the trees.
Last year I planted the bleeding heart, a huechera and an astilbe in the bed on the left, along with annuals in both beds, planted the deck pots, and started the brick path, then realized, I can’t finish the path until I find something else to edge the fence bed with, since that’s where the rest of the bricks are right now.
This year I finished planting the left hand bed with perennials, and edged both beds with rescued broken concrete.
As soon as I find enough more concrete to edge the fence bed, I’ll finish the path.
Eventually we want to put an arbor between the trees as the entrance to the back yard.

okay, I’ll have to get the kid back over here to show me how to post from Photobucket.

Again I love this bed … especially the way it is nestled between the trees like that. Nice view from the driveway … I hope you find more concrete, cuz that is an awesome idea about lining the beds with it. Look forward to seeing more Dini … :-)

Dini….write down each step and number them as your son teaches you. Then all you have to do is start at #1 and go from there. Many times when I was learning things on the puter this is what I would do.Make the steps so that you understand them.Hope this will help you too.

Got to resize your photos right in Photobucket … you want to go to “Edit” which is located right above your saved photo in Photobucket one you have downloaded your photo. Then “preset sizes”. Then Select website or Message Board as your new size. Then to save your new sized photo, hit the “replace original”.

Hope this helps … :-)

And by the way, I really like your walkway … really pretty Dini.

Although Dini, when you post on a “project”, those 3 photos are taken right from where you originally saved your photos on your computer. GT will size them accordingly. On threads and if you want to post more than 3 photos on a project, forums or blogs you need to have your photos first downloaded into Photobucket and resized from there. Maybe that will make more sense to you.

Anyway … sure enjoying your photos … so keep ‘em coming!! :-)

Yup, refreshing did the trick … I really like your entrance, it is so warm and inviting!!! Love the little garden by your front steps and the flower boxes on your steps. Broken concrete look fantastic. Brick walkway will be really nice when you get it done. And can see how your fence fits in to your landscape now.

What about dwarf Lilacs or dwarf Burning Bushes … are you allowed to plant anything like that along that fence? Both would be beautiful along there or even strategiclly placed.

Your yard is really coming together nicely Dini.Love the pink roses.Your concrete borders look great.Never would of thought of using concrete pieces. You have such a long fence that you could do so many different plants along.Good luck with choosing some that will work for you.

daylillies? Yellow, of course. Only color anyone around here seems to have, and they came with the trailer. I just moved ‘em up under the trees.
