Had to laugh today, as I was once again dragging all my outside pots into our “sunroom” to share space with my “inside garden”. Temps are dipping into the 30’s tonight … need I say more.
Sooooo, thought I would share with you a few photos of my “Inside Garden”. It is the room off our kitchen that is filled with plants that I love along with a few cozy recliners, my Tiffany style lamps and of course lots of wonderful sunshine.
First above photo is of my Piggyback Plant.
Middle Photo is “Bertha” the Boston Fern
Third Photo is my smallest variegated Potho
Below is one of my many African Violets. Been growing Violets for going on 28 years now.
Below is my old variegated Potho’s, in one of my favorite large baskets
Below is my variegated Fig. I love the green and white leaves.
And last but not least, my Tea Cup Miniature African Violet. She is just beginning to bloom again.

Have a feeling this year’s weather is going to be even more unpredictable than usual, eh, GranT?

Hmmmmm, maybe I didn’t make myself so clear … but the photos are of some of the plants that create my “inside garden” The above plants never go outside. The containers that I “dragged” in from the cold had to share space with these plants and are shown on some of my other projects and blogs … does that makes sense???
Oh well … Thanks to everyone for their kind comments. :-)

Well, it wasn’t so bad last night, eh, G’maT? We brought in our gerbers, but left everything else out there, and they seemed OK this morning.
It’s supposed to warm up this weekend…hooray!

Funny “D” ... I left the Gerbers out cuz they are normally the last flower I cut back in the fall, so figured they could handle the cooler temperatures and brought everything else in. Covered my hanging pots on the porch cuz they were Petunias. Most of my pots are Petunias and Gazanias … so just wasn’t sure how they would handle the cold. Come this far, would have hated to loose anything at this point in the “game”.
Yah, tomorrow they are talking in the 70’s I think … about time. I have some bareroot dwarf daylillies and dwarf Gaillardias to put in the ground tomorrow. :-)

Yah, I was up and out with shovel in hand at about 6:30 this morning. What a glorious morning, loving the sunshine!!! Added 6 dwarf daylillies of various colors, 3 dwarf Gaillardias, and 3 Burgundy Gaillardias to the front bed. With everything I have added this year, the bed is really quite full. Now the question becomes … can one truly run out of room in a garden??? !!!! LOL!!!!!!
And I found one open flower on my row of Stella d’ Oro Lilies down the front driveway!!!! I get so darn excited when these all begin to bloom. Now if the rest of my gardens will just follow suit. :-)

Hahahaha, thanks MsDeb … in the winter, I am in there a lot. Now, I am in and out, watering this and pinching off that as I walk by. The room is conveniently located off the kitchen and right by the back door/basement stairs—so I am catching a glimps of them everytime I head outside. :-)
