I really like the way the vine covers your arbor and has turned such a lovely shade of autumnal red. Is it Virginia Creeper? I cannot be sure from the photos but that is my guess. I allow Virginia Creeper to flourish in the more wild part of my yard because I think it is beautiful and it provides wonderful fall and winter food for the birds such as the Eastern Bluebird, the Northern Cardinal and chickadees.

Well Thank you all and I appreciate the comments ,glad you enjoy the pics.
The arbor we build is getting more and more beautiful as the Virginia creeper matures and gives us some privacy ,it sure has been a nice addition all year around .

The birds also like it and we hope this winter when the feeder is out that we will get more feathered guests .
The first arbour near the house also turned out well with clematis liking it (see pic)
Well worth all the effort !

No words to appreciate your arbors. I wish I lived in such beautiful surroundings. The change in color of the Virginia creeper from green to red is so pleasing. The sweet young girl has brought life to the picture.

I was on the road somewhere in Australia (of course, I can’t disclose the specific locations), when I passed by a beautiful garden that is being tended by an elderly couple. Their house location is very strategic since beside their home is a vacant lot ideal for my new storage location. Albeit small, it was a great location for us to offer cheap storage. Then, the vicinity seems to be safe, too. But I am still thinking about it since it would destroy the essence of the area, and would make the two elderly couple sad to have a gloomy storage facility looming over their garden.
