For me to use ”Finished Project”and ”Flower Bed” in the same sentence sounds like a contradiction in term : a flower bed is an growing, evolving “being”.
This one started a year ago.
It is on the hillside and the plan originally was to stop the erosion, so as little watering as possible, none at all if I can help it.
As well it had to be self sustainable. I am a lazy gardener, I do not want to spend more than a month in the Spring in cleaning all my beds. During the Summer and Fall, the weeding is done when I take a break from my concrete sculpting!

Ground covering Astilbe
Ground covering Thyme
Cat Mint Lows

Echinops bannaticus”Blue Globes (3 plants)

Russian Sage
Salvia Berggateen
Salvia Officccinalis ” Tricolore, Salvia Officccinalis “Aurea”

Congrats on being “FINISHED” with this one :)

This is great. I like the plan as well – erosion/no watering/little care!! Well done.

I like the use of all the “natural” items in this garden … tree trunks, rocks, and I think I see a concrete leaf too. Fits in well with your other landscaping. Great job “E”!!!

I am already planning to add to this bed!!
And when the bid pond is done, the rest of the hillside will get a similar treatment, with stairs made in the same way as the pathway!
