A Fresh Start #2: First Mowing

I mowed our lawn for the first time tonight. It was great. I used our Push Mower for some exercise and because I think the gas mower is a bit of overkill for such a small section of lawn.

Nothing else to say so I’ll leave with a picture from a park we visited this weekend.

Thank you MsDebbieP, it’s a new camera and I’m having fun trying out different things. I thought the sunlight was at a great angle too.

That must be a camillia! It’s beautiful.

Lucky you! Cutting the lawn, already. Mine is covered with snow and ice today. :-(

Thank you GrandmaT. I enjoy photography but only recently picked up a nice camera, (Cannon Rebel Xsi). Mostly I take pictures of my daughter but I’m trying to snap more of everything.

The backyard is great, where we just had new sod put down this winter. It’s my front yard I need to post about for help. The heavy equipment the landscapers used did a number on it and even though they leveled it, put some topsoil on it and seeded it, it’s struggling to break through.

Well daughters are indeed precious and wonderful to take pictures of …

Well I was never one to have “perfect” grass … tried for several years and then just gave up. But I am sure there are folk here that can give you some good advice when you have questions.

Keep those photos coming “Z” ... really enjoyed that gorgeous rose!! :-)

Mowing? No. Sowing? No. Blowing? Yes. Snow? Yes. Walk in the park? No. Look out at the dark? Yes. (Sounds Dr. Seusish). The rose is beautiful.
