My first iris

first iris after the rain May 22, 2010

The end of the fringes is approaching… but what a great opportunity for a final shot.

Come wander through my garden with me. When Spring comes I can hardly wait to get my hands in the mud. I enjoy helping plants to thrive, and experimenting with new additions each year. Throughout my garden you will find little hidden gems - creatures, sculptures, quirky odds and ends mostly from auctions or yard sales.

Your fringed tulip blooms have lasted a long time. What a beautiful and unique collection of flowers you grow!

Marvelous photos and flowers. The Iris is just spectacular. I’m still trying to get my head around those fringed Tulips. My wife has seen them before, but they are beautiful and new to me.

What a delicate iris bloom, beautiful. Love the rain drops on the tulip. A shame the tulips are done for another year. They lasted a good long time this year. It was nice to enjoy them.
