Hi there!
I'm very new to this type of a page, but a long time gardener and forum enthusiest. Always up for a challange, and looking forward to uploading my "gardening" projects to the site, hey might even start my very first blog hehe. Never wanted to write one about myself but to write one as a what's what in the garden and time line might be cool.

Back to gardening hehe. I live on a 23 acer hobby farm complete with small grass land, forest and feilds. We have a good sized veggie garden, probably around 50' square? I really should do some measurements on day. In it we have the standard veggies, good herb mix and even some flowers. (you can read more about it I guess in the main garden section?) Tacked onto the end of that between it and the bog garden are 3 berry patches, strawberries, rubus(black berry, raspberry, golden raspberry, purple rubus) and a young blueberry bush patch. The newest addition after the berries is the bog garden, which you can read more about in the project section.

This upcomming year should be a bigish year in the garden zone. I have a rion 8x16' professional series greenhouse to put up (which I hope to get at asap. We're also expanding the main garden for the sunflowers as the area I used to grow them in needs to be used for machinery now. We're not 100% sure if we'll do it this year or not, but we may start finally on regrading and landscaping the back yard. Will depend on how the other projects go.

I've been gardening since I was a little kid with my meme and grandma. I then took that passion and went through school for it, and graduated a horticuluralist. Interesting job for sure! I have only a few hobbies, but they are intensive and I try and work them into each other. In addition to my garden outside and bog, I grow a variety of carnivorous plants indoors on a grow stand, and keep Dart frogs, which is where I really blend my hobbies when I make their tanks (another thing you can read more about in my projects section).

Hope you find my pages interesting, feel free to message me, or anything.
Thanks
sib ;)

Welcome to GT! There’s a small wetland area in south-central Michigan that actually supports pitcher plants. Ever since a school field trip, I’ve been captivated by ‘em.

Let’s see some pics of your work!

I really like what you are doing , Syble. Those carnivorous plants are really special. You have a wonderful eye for photography as well.
