The garden is doing pretty good but we haven’t had any real rain in 26 days. I have added watermelon, cauliflower, okra and some bell peppers.

Its in need of some heavy weeding. We are getting up at 6:00 am and work it while it’s a litle cool. It has been in the mid 90’s and very humid.

I have also built my wife a garden table for cleaning the harvest. I went out in the back pasture and repurposed a old sink too.

Do you have the sink attached to a water line? An interesting concept.

Not yet jroot. I have just got the adapter to connect a hose. I would still like to use the old faucet.

Thank you Bon and MsDebbie. Update the weeding is near complete this week;)

My wife and I are sore, sun burnt and a wee bit tired. But it was due for a good tilling and hoeing.

If when I come home after work and just do 3 rows. I could keep it easily manageable. But life happens, 4 kids, 1 grandchild and a house that was built in 1880 needs to be tended to. And I love it;) Ms Debbie have you been tending to a new grandson?

pretty much :)
that’s been our priority for the last several days .. and then add on that an injured hand and it’s a perfect mix for happy weeds.
