Thank you Debbie. I’m new to these forums and very slow, so it may take me a time to get used to how things are done.
It looks a very friendly site.

Hello and welcome to GT from another “Debbie”. It is a wonderful site. Look forward to hearing all about your gardening. The “pulse” button (which I totally overlooked for weeks, DUH!) is great for keeping you updated on the latest “chatting” ... also check out the blogs … lots of good info and sharing of lives there too. And, of course the projects …

Took me a while to figure out the site and all it’s wonderful features. Again, Welcome Springwood.

it won’t take long to get the hang of it.. it’s pretty easy to navigate (thanks to Martin and Buli for their hard work).

The Pulse is the only thing I use …..... keeps me up to date on everything going on. I set it to “only new”.

Can I just say I am very excited to see you are from England! I hear your landscape is very beautiful there. What does your place/garden(s) look like? :-)

We have just moved to a new house for us, it is in the middle of a wood and as soon as I can get some photos of the garden and the knowledge on where to put them and how, I will show you.
I have one or two projects I would like to get under way this year when I have the time.
We do have some beautiful landscapes, but I think each country has its beauties.

Yes, I agree … each country does indeed have it’s own wonderful, God given beauty. What I find fascinating is how the beauty differs from country to country or here in the US … from state to state.

So Springwood, congrats on the new house and look forward to seeing those pictures (down the road) and chatting more!

Pictures:
you can post 6 pictures (uploaded from your computer) onto your ”garden” page (click on your profile page to find it)

you can also ”blog” about your gardens. For blogs (and for any “comments”) you have to have the photos already posted online somewhere (ex. photo sight such as Photobucket), then you can link them into your blog / comments by using their provided “photo location address”. It’s as simple as putting quotation marks around the location address.

For a specific project that you want to showcase you can upload a maximum of 3 pictures directly to the Project page from your computer. (If you want to add more you’d use the same process as for a blog or comment).

If you have a comment/question for the forums, the process would also be the same as for a blog.

Hope that helps.

Hi! GrandamaT.
We had a sprinkling of snow over Easter, but was gone once the sun came up.
Spring arrived then disappeared again.
We are all well at the moment, my grandson stays with me over the school holidays, he is 15 next and I dont get a look in on the computer, unless he is in bed, back to normal at the weekend.
I will have lots to catch up on.
Thank you for getting in touch, hope you are also well.
