The following additions have been made to my terrace garden. Encouraged from the project on coleus posted by Iris, most of them are varieties of coleus which are known for their vibrant and colorful foliage. Two of them are with flower spikes which I will pinch back to prevent them from getting leggy and encourage them to grow sideways. Propogation is very easy by softwood cuttings. I am planning to grow a mixture of them in one container which I think will look very attractive. Note the last coleus plant in a polythene bag. Potato was planted as an experimental plant to watch how it progresses. I will sow them in larger area later. The last picture is of a variety of bean. The pods are used green.

Sharad, what lovely coleus you have growing! I agree with you, they are so colourful. I’m sure they will add lots of colour and variety to your patio garden.
The Potato plant looks lke it should give you a nice little crop of potatoes…...what a fun (and tasty) project. Same for the beans.

It seems as though there is nothing you cannot grow! Wonderful coleus specimens, hope I have half your success next spring.
