« Part 21: Sept. 16, 2011 Part 22 of Everyday Adventures series no next part

Today is such an excellent day. I spent the weekend cleaning up and planning. I just figured out that one plot is 132ft x 62ft for a grand total of 8281sq ft. Much larger than I had thought. So what do with it? I will do a 30×30 ft plot of Hard Red Spring Wheat. We bake a lot around here. I should be able to produce 50lbs of flour. Which is adequate for us for the year. Then i will do a 30×20 ft area of field corn. I will eat some fresh and dry the rest for cornmeal. Then an area 80×50 ft will be used for raised garden beds.

Tomorrow I will work on the chicken pen. And yes, that is a bus in the chicken pen. My aunt used to use it as the chicken house. It needs fence on one side and its ready to go.

I hope you enjoyed a few pictures of the property.
