« Part 16: July 29, 2010 Part 17 of Everyday Adventures series Part 18: Video 1 »

Hey everyone! I know I haven’t posted in a very long time. We have been so busy remodeling our old ranch house. Now the 2011 spring season has begun. I am still harvesting winter crop. I’ve already planted many spring veggies. I have planted field corn, lettuce, beets, and spinach. I have even more stuff going into the ground this week. I have expanded the garden to about 1 acre. I was lucky and got to use a tractor to till everything up. I am looking into getting a smaller cultivator for weeding. I have spaced all of my rows closer together to maximize usage and I am still using wide rows. I wanted to give everyone a quick update. I am going to post a video later showing what the garden looks like now. Bye!

If your garden is an acre, I surely hope that you DO find a small cultivator. Lots of work, but the end result is worth it. We look forward to seeing your pictures of your garden.
