I live in NJ with my dog Buddy and my two cats, Sniffles and Shadow, he's the old one and getting reqady to go to cat heaven.
I have five chickens and yes they have names since I do not intend to eat them.
I am a Master Gardener, you would never know it by the way my garden looks right now. Since I live alone now it is hard to keep up with everything. My specialty is vegetables, I always say if I can't eat it there is no reason to plant it. But I am working on that I really love flowers.
I am looking forward to learning from all of you.
I do do other things like play the piano, the best I can, I sing in a choir, I volunteer, caregivers and hospice. I enjoy the people in my church and spend alot of time there even though I am not super religious.
Greetings to you all and whoever is looking I want to say thank you for taking the time.
Rosemarie

After all these years I have learned many things and one is to enjoy what you have because you may lose it tomorrow. I know I lost much, and am glad I didn’t lose ME yet.

Hello, Rosewood513. It is good to have you with us on GT. I’m really happy to see that you are contributing already. I love your avator. It is simply gorgeous.

It is good to have a master gardener on board. Just think of all the questions we can ask. LOL

There is quite a variety in experience here. It is so much fun helping where we can. As I said, it is good to have you with us.

I want to thank you, that is so kind jroot. Those lilies were from last year, they are growing beautifully now.
It seems that lilies have become a favorite for me. Just put in another doz and half.
I am looking forward to many days of chats with you all.

Congratulations on your up-coming one-year anniversary with Garden Tenders! I have enjoyed reading your posts and learning from your gardening experience and I look forward to reading your future posts. BTW, did you ever find any Brazilian Basil?

Thanks do much Robin it has been a pleasure to be part of this forum. I have been envolved with a few and this is the nicest, I get more info here and feel more at home.
I did not get the Brazilian Basil, I found something else, but it is not from the garden.
I cannot wait for planting time.
