More of a woodworker than gardner, but did go to Stockbridge School at U Mass. for Landscaping, but changed to a white collar job to better suport wife and three kids.

this summer will have been married for 49 years, and have been retired for a couple of years, so now getting a chance to play around with some things that I missed doing while working 50+ hours a week.

welcome to GT :)
I’m guessing that you spend a lot of time in your gardens – since they are so beautiful. And with a landscaping background, perhaps we can pick your brain for information :D :D :D

Hellow and thanks,

I think he cat is a resin reproduction of one in the Museum of Modern Art. I have a rabbit in the same style. Found them in a garden center, but do not know if they are any longer available. They looked so great that I had to buy them for my wife.

I spend very little time in the garden, I have opted for low maintainence. The lawn takes about 20 minutes to mow. Have had big yards in the past, but like shoveling snow, it can get old. Size is now perfect.
