I have 1.5 acres mostly mixed turf,my property is surrounded by pines in the sides and rear along with a stand of oaks in front. The property was once cotton plantation so there is a terrace running in front. My soil is clay red and I mean red very acidic with no topsoil. In my veg garden in which we grow commonly eaten items Toms squash hot peppers and such. I enjoy flowering trees and shrubs along with aprox 50sqft of annuals planted twice a year. I try to use organic fert and chems but you know how that works.

Welcome to GT, Noknot. We’d love to see what you are doing with your garden. What happens when you use organic fertilizer? Please explain.
