Recipes from the Garden #3: Pickled Garlic
I checked to see if anyone has ever posted their recipe for pickled garlic… but it seems this might be the first. It’s a great early august recipe (at least in zones 4-5!) I just made 6 X 250ml jars of it so I thought I would share. I have friends who go gaga over this stuff. Personally, I love to put it on top of cottage cheese with some toast. Also great on Ryita. It’s amazing. And elegant too if you put it in a brandy glass of some sort for a dinner party. If you like garlic – you absolutely need to try it. And it’s great for what ails you (get it??? if you don’t speak french at all you might not get it. Very old joke.). I timed mysel...
